4 राज्यों में चोटी कांड की दहशत, रातभर पहरा दे रहे हैं लोग

नई दिल्लीः दिल्ली और आसपास के राज्यों में चोटी काटने वाले गैंग की दहशत के बीच अफवाहों का बाजार भी गर्म है. वहीं यूपी के आगरा में एक बुजुर्ग विधवा महिला की लोगों ने पीट-पीटकर हत्या का मामला सामने आया है. दिल्ली, हरियाणा, उत्तर प्रदेश और राजस्थान में इस अफवाह के चलते लोग रात को जागकर चौकीदारी करने को मजबूर हो गए है. आगरा की घटना की बात करें तो यहां लोगों को शक था कि ये महिला ही लोगों की चोटी काटती है, कुछ ने इस महिला को चुडैल तक बताया. पुलिस ने इस मामले में दो लोगों के खिलाफ हत्या का मुकदमा दर्ज किया है.

हरियाणा (हिसार)

हरियाणा के हिसार से भी कल चोटी कटने की एक घटना सामने आई है, जिसके बाद हिसार के न्यू योगनगर के लोग डरे हुए हैं. न्यू योग नगर की रहने वाली कमला देवी सो रही थीं सुबह जगीं तो उनकी चोटी जमीन पर कटकर पड़ी थी.

राजस्थान (धौलपुर)

राजस्थान के धौलपुर में भी लोग चोटी कटने की घटना से परेशान हैं. लोगों ने बचने के लिए घर के बाहर लोगों ने टोना टोटका शुरू कर दिया है. यहां एक ही नहीं ऐसे दर्जनों घर दिखे जहां पर लोगों ने चोटी कटने से बचने के लिए टोना टोटका शुरू कर दिया है. गांव के लोगों ने दहशत से बचने के लिए या तो नीबू मिर्च लटका रखा है या फिर दीवार पर हल्दी के छाप लगा दिए हैं.

Nitish Kumar’s Bihar move upsets opposition’s alliance plan in Jharkhand. Here’s how

Nitish Kumar’s handshake with the BJP has sent shockwaves beyond Bihar. The summersault by the veteran socialist has left the opposition stunned in neighbouring Jharkhand, where Nitish had proposed a grand alliance with former chief minister Babulal Marandi’s Jharkhand Vikas Morcha (JVM) and others against the ruling BJP.

“Marandi is stunned, too,” one of his aides told HT. “They worked closely for a combined front. Things are back to square one.”

At an event in Jharkhand to showcase his prohibition policy in May 2016, Nitish had promised to replicate it in the state if Marandi is voted as chief minister in the next election scheduled in December 2019.

The Congress too is undecided about an alliance and its newly appointed in-charge for Jharkhand, RPN Singh, has announced that the party will strengthen its organisation in each of the 81 assembly seats.

Although the Congress is not ruling out an alliance, it is keeping its options open to chose between Marandi and JMM of Shibu Soren, the tallest tribal leader from the state.

BJP leaders in Delhi have ruled out any immediate merger talks with Marandi, but have kept doors open for him.

“We always wanted him to return,” a BJP general secretary said. “He was approached in 2009 and again in 2014. It is a call that he has to take.”

Marandi had declined BJP’s offer in the past as his former party did not accept some of the condition he had set. Although there was no dispute over his projection as the chief ministerial face, Marandi wanted total control over the party the decision making role. The BJP was averse to it. The BJP and the JVM have fought a turf war for a decade now and conceding too much to Marandi would have resulted into another round of infighting in the BJP.

टेकऑफ के बाद भी बाहर था प्लेन का लैंडिंग गियर, 2 पायलट को ड्यूटी से हटाया

मुंबई. कोलकाता से उड़ान भरने वाली एयरइंडिया की एक फ्लाइट का लैंडिंग गियर उड़ान के दौरान बाहर ही रह गया था। इंडियन एयरलाइंस के मुताबिक पिछले हफ्ते 22 जुलाई को ये घटना हुई थी। हालांकि, इस फ्लाइट की डिटेल एयरलाइंस ने नहीं दी है। वाकया सामने आने के बाद दोनों पायलट्स को ड्यूटी से हटा दिया गया है। एयरलाइन के मुताबिक दोनों महिला पायलट थीं, जो टेकऑफ के बाद लैंडिंग गियर को वापस खींचना भूल गईं। 100 पैसेंजर्स सवार थे...

प्लेन की लैंडिंग से पहले इमरजेंसी गेट खोलने की कोशिश
- रांची एयरपोर्ट पर एयर एशिया फ्लाइट की लैंडिंग से चंद मिनट पहले बड़ा हादसा टल गया था। दरअसल, 10 जुलाई की रात प्लेन में सवार एक शख्स अचानक इमरजेंसी गेट खोलने की कोशिश करने लगा।
- फौरन क्रू और पैसेंजर्स ने किसी तरह उसे रोका और फ्लाइट में सवार सैकड़ों पैसेंजर्स को बचा लिया। यह फ्लाइट दिल्ली से रांची होते हुए कोलकाता जा रही थी। रांची में फ्लाइट की लैंडिंग के बाद आरोपी को पुलिस के हवाले कर दिया गया

टेकऑफ से पहले इंजन में लग गई थी आग
- पटना एयरपोर्ट पर 30 जून को एक बड़ा विमान हादसा होने से बाल-बाल बच गया। पटना से दिल्ली जाने वाले इंडिगो के विमान 6 ई 508 के इंजन में उस वक्त आग लग गई जब वह रनवे के लगभग अंतिम टेक ऑफ प्वाइंट से उड़ान भरने ही वाला था।

- पायलट ने अपनी सूझ-बूझ से इमरजेंसी ब्रेक लगाया और इवैक्यूवेशन स्लाइड के जरिये सभी 174 यात्रियों को विमान से सुरक्षित बाहर निकाला गया। इस घटना के बाद पटना एयरपोर्ट पर तीन घंटे यानी शाम छह बजे शाम से रात नौ बजे तक ऑपरेशन बंद कर दिया गया।

- एयरपोर्ट के निदेशक आरएस लाहौरिया ने बताया कि इंडिगो विमान का इंजन-1 फेल्योर हो गया था। इसी वजह से इमरजेंसी ब्रेक लगाया गया। सभी यात्रियों को सुरक्षित विमान से उतारा गया। कुछ घंटे बाद ट्रैफिक नॉर्मल हुआ।

KD Jadhav's family to auction India's first individual Olympic medal after Maharashtra Government fails to fulfill promise

New Delhi: It was a moment of glory of India, a moment to rejoice and feel proud as a citizen of this country when Khashaba Dadasaheb Jadhav had clinched the first ever medal for India at Olympics. It was back in the 1952 Summer Olympics in Helsinki that the late athlete had grabbed a bronze in wrestling.

It was then and it is now. Today, his family is threatening to sell off his Olympic medal in order to finance a wrestling academy which the Maharashtra Government had promised to fund.

“The matter languishes in cold storage even after sanctioning the amount and now the cost of setting up the academy would be nearly double," Jadhav said.

“We have issued an ultimatum to the state government till August 14 – the 33rd death anniversary of my father, who died aged 58 in 1984. If they fail to clear its promise of the academy, from Independence Day, August 15, the family and villagers will go on a hunger strike,” Jadhav declared.

भारत-चीन के बीच हो सकता है युद्ध, राजनयिक करें आपसी संवाद: चीनी विशेषज्ञ

बीजिंग (आइएएनएस)। चीन के एक विशेषज्ञ का कहना है कि डोकलाम मुद्दे को लेकर भारत और चीन के बीच युद्ध की संभावना है। ऐसे में दोनों देशों के राजनयिकों को युद्ध होने से रोकना चाहिए।

चीन के चारहार इंस्टीट्यूट के शोधकर्ता और चाइना वेस्ट नॉर्मल यूनिवर्सिटी के सेंटर फॉर इंडियन स्टडीज के निदेशक लांग शिंगचुन ने कहा कि पूर्व में अनावश्यक युद्ध के उदाहरण हैं। वर्तमान में भारत और चीन के बीच मंडराते युद्ध से दोनों पक्षों को नुकसान होगा।

चीन के सरकारी अखबार ग्लोबल टाइम्स में उन्होंने लिखा कि यह कहना गलत है कि चीन इस साल होने वाले चाइना नेशनल कांग्रेस को देखते हुए डोकलाम सीमा गतिरोध का इस्तेमाल कर रहा है। लांग ने तनाव बढ़ाने के लिए चीन स्थित भारतीय मीडिया और चीन मामलों के भारतीय विशेषज्ञों को जिम्मेदार बताया। उन्होंने कहा कि इनके अनुसार चीन आंतरिक समस्याओं से ध्यान बंटाने के लिए डोकलाम तनाव बढ़ाने की साजिश कर रहा है। लांग ने कहा कि चीन युद्ध के बजाय शांतिपूर्ण अंतरराष्ट्रीय माहौल चाहता है।

Doklam stand-off: This is how India is countering China at the border

New Delhi: Even as a report in the official mouthpiece of Chinese military has said that its Army had moved tens of thousands of tonnes of military vehicles and hardware into the remote mountainous Tibet region, top government sources mainatined on Wednesday that there was no significant rise in deployment of troops by China along the Sino-India border.

The sources was quoted by PTI as saying that the exercise was a routine military drill by China and that its western theatre command has not made any major enhancement in its military might in the wake of the face-off that should trigger alarm bells in India.
 
The report said that deployments made by the Leh-based XIV Corps, the Sukma-based XXXIII Corps, the Tezpur-based 4 Corps, the Dimapur-based III Corps and the Panagarh-based XVII Corps were the core of India's defence.

The strength of the Indian Army here is said to be close to 2 lakh men and women.

The media house further said that the Indian Air Force had 22 airfields and was developing a network of smaller air landing grounds in the Eastern sector.

Mumbai's CST is now 'Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus', railway code remains unchanged

Mumbai: Mumbai's iconic railway station, Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus has been rechristened with addition of an honorific 'Maharaj' after 'Shivaji' in its old name.

The British-era landmark, which was Victoria Terminus before it was named after the Maratha warrior king a couple of decades back, will now be known as "Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus, Mumbai."

Elaborating on the code remaining unchanged, the CR's chief PRO Sunil Udasi said the code does not always match with the phonetics of the station name.

"For example, Ballarshah railway station's code is BPQ. It is not for public usage, but for railway's data coding, processing and PRS records. Bangalore city is SBC. There is no S in the name, but it is there in the code. So a code does not necessarily be the same as phonetic name," Udasi said adding codes rarely change.

Another example of this is Bombay Central station, which was renamed as Mumbai Central, though its code was not changed from BCT to MCT, he said.

"Necessary corrections should be made in the alphabetical list of railway stations in India," it further reads.
